Blake Shelton Wins People’s Choice Award for Country Artist of 2019

The winners of the 2019 People’s Choice Awards—voted on by we the people—were announced on Nov. 10.

On the country music front, Blake Shelton bested Luke Combs, Carrie Underwood, Luke Bryan and more for Country Artist of 2019.

“WOW! Thank y’all! To the people & the fans—very grateful for this! @peopleschoice,” said Blake via Twitter.

Lil Nas X and Billy Ray Cyrus’ smash hit, “Old Town Road,” was bested by Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello’s “Señorita” for Song of the Year.
