The 27-year-old Sunnyside, Washington native co-authored the tune with the songwriting team of Carson Chamberlain and Tim Nichols. “I Never Lie” is featured on Top’s 2024 record, Cold Beer & Country Music, which recently peaked at No. 6 on the Top Country Albums chart. Top initially gained a following through TikTok, eventually becoming the first artist to sign to Leo 33, a label founded by former Universal Music Group Nashville executives. In addition to his chart success, Top just headlined two sold-out shows at Nashville’s historic Ryman Auditorium on February 28 and March 1.
